About the Project

Caroline needed a website for her new home organization service and was starting from scratch. She had been organizing spaces for her friends and families for years and decided to finally turn her passion into her business.

Design Approach

We started by discussing the goals of the business, her target customer, and competitors in the space. We also discussed her organization methods and mantras — most notably, “Simplify” — which helped to drive a clean, calm, and simple brand aesthetic.

Once I had enough information to get started, I did my own organizing of content and information including site structure and how it should be navigated through a simple information architecture diagram and shared with Caroline before starting on design.

The design and implementation took only 2 weeks since it’s a relatively simple site, communicating a service, with a contact form as the only necessary point of conversion. Implementation was done using Squarespace and modifying the template using custom styles and CSS to create a uniquely branded design.
