Kitchen Counter Glow Up

When we did our kitchen reno in the summer of 2021, I was so excited to upgrade many of my countertop items to make the kitchen more functional (and prettier of course!) I’ve rounded up some of my favorite original finds + some more recent options. PS - a breadbox was a new addition to our family that I highly recommend! It not only hides your carby items, but they last longer too!

Uses steam to make the perfect toast that’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Also has your standard toaster oven controls.

Love this recycled breadbox we have! It’s the perfect cream color and the size isn’t too big – fits a couple loafs (I stash tortillas in it too!)

A comparable, less expensive version of what we have.

A very cute pair of acacia boards you can style on your backsplash so they’re handy.

If you compost, I highly recommend this good-looking bin. It’s just the right size and, more importantly, keeps the stink inside with its filters!

A fave Etsy find – get your hand and dish soap into these! The labels help house guests know which is which. The pumps are a nice matte black and the rubber bottoms help them stay in place.

A place for your sponge that’s NOT in the sink or on the counter. It’s a quick dry stone which means your sponge will actually dry out and the nasty stuff won’t have a chance.

I love this drying mat and recently bought the matching caddy you can put on top. It’s antimicrobial, fast drying, and folds up!

You can never go wrong with splurging on a unique ceramic statement piece for your counter, like this woven fruit basket.

If you don’t want to go all in on the fruit bowl, this pedestal bowl is another cute option!

Crafted by one of my favorite tableware brands, Hasami Porcelain. It has a strainer at the top and makes about 2 cups.

The most beautiful wood utensil holder – it’s super sturdy and is just the right size. I keep about 12 utensils in mine with room to spare.

For my fellow plant obsessed that propagates on their kitchen windowsill :)

I have two of these next to my vitamix for flax and chia seeds. They can be used for whatever you use regularly!

Loooove these scoops and keep them in my ceramic canisters.

A simple salt cellar with easy access to upgrade your cooking style.

A cute lidded salt cellar option or can be used for other loved seasonings.

I like having multiple types of salt on hand (kosher, redmond real salt, and flaky sea salt to be exact) so I use a matching set. Mine is out of stock, but thought this duo was very nice!

So cute and easy to get into – perfect for everyday items or your favorite treats.

I love this simple and affordable dispenser for our everyday olive oil that we use for cooking.

I like having a special cruet for the good stuff! I keep our tastier olive oil in one like this for salads and drizzling on things.

I have this 10” turntable which is the perfect size for our cooking oils and other go-to essentials. It’s held up perfectly!

A variety of feel good meals that are fun to make and so flavorful.

A cozy cookbook to bring friends & fam together. Be sure to check out the apple cider cakes!

A perfect book of classic California style recipes from the popular restaurant.

Beautifully illustrated wine book that is so fun to look through and learn a thing or two.

Cute and sturdy decorative trays to gather essentials or arrange a trio of items on your counter.

My favorite diffuser at the moment and they come in all my favorite muted colors :)

For iPhones 12 and up – keep your phone and airpods charged and handy. The upright design makes it great for reading recipes!
